Meet Kate Newton, Vestibular Physiotherapist
Kate Newton is a titled Neurological (MACP) and Vestibular Physiotherapist with more than ten years of experience in the assessment and management of vestibular and neurological conditions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Physiotherapy (HONS) from the University of Newcastle in 2011
Herdman Competency Course in Basic Vestibular Rehabilitation in 2020
Master of Rehabilitation (Neurological Physiotherapy) from the Australian Catholic University in 2023, completing research in the area of Vestibular Rehabilitation.

Kate has experience in managing a number of vestibular conditions including:
BPPV
Vestibular Neuritis
Vestibular Migraine
Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD)
Superior Canal Dehiscence (including post-surgical management)

Post-Concussion Syndrome
In addition, Kate has experience in working with balance and dizziness complications arising secondary to neurological conditions (such as Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebellar Stroke, Acquired and Traumatic Brain Injuries, Movement Disorders including Parkinson’s Disease and Ataxia).
